Those who may have dreamed of driving a race car can get behind the wheel of one here in Las Vegas. An experienced trainer will take you a full five laps around a real racetrack. You can also ride shotgun in a Ferrari F430 race car while a professional driver makes hot laps around the Las Vegas Motor Speedway. Tours take between 2.5 to 4 hours to complete, and should be scheduled in advance.

Pinball Hall of Fame

Play to your heart’s delight at the Pinball Hall of Fame. Open from 11 am to 11 pm daily, this facility allows you to play a variety of vintage pinball machines while classic rock music plays in the background. There are also classic arcade games that date as far back as the 1940s. In all, over 200 machines are available, and each one requires only one quarter. Admission is free, with a large percentage of the profits from these games going to the local Salvation Army.

Clark County Wetlands Park

Located in the desert area immediately outside Las Vegas, Clark County Wetlands Park is full of trails that will allow you to view plenty of wildlife. There are also special viewing areas set up inside the park that are not part of the trail system. Visitors can also enjoy bicycling or horseback riding on some of the trails. Several ponds located throughout the park are ideal for fishing. Numerous picnic pavilions are provided here, making it a nice location to enjoy a quiet lunch.
